Our campus competed at the Sharyland North UIL Invitational on Saturday, October 28th. We brought home the 2nd Place Sweepstakes award for 6th grade, missing 1st place by only one point. Our students accounted for 39 top ten finishes in total, and placed in almost every category. Individual highlights include 6th grader Michael Garza who placed 7th in Listening Skills; 3rd in Maps, Graphs, & Charts; 2nd in Ready Writing; and 1st in Social Studies! Our Number Sense team, lead by Mrs. Rosalva Gonzalez, also contributed a whopping 40 points to our school sweepstakes total. That means that our School took about 25% of the points awarded among 15 schools.
