After School Tutoring-February 17-18

There will be After School Tutoring Monday and Tuesday, February 17-18.  If you were on the tutoring list for February 6, make plans to stay.  Anyone that stays will earn a No Homework Pass.  If 6 students from the same class period stay for tutoring, that class will earn another letter.  So, start letting your parents know about tutoring.  Tutoring will now be on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Abraham Lincoln had many nicknames.  In your homework, you read about one of those nicknames.  Can you tell me 1 of Lincoln's nicknames for +16 on any daily assignment?  Can 5 of your classmates each tell me a different nickname too?  Accomplish this, and your period will earn another letter.

Lincoln said, "Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation;"  what number is four score and seven years?  Lincoln continues, "and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal."  What document is Lincoln talking about?  What event/year is Lincoln talking about in the first paragraph of his Gettysburg Address?  Answer these questions and earn a letter for your class.
