I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all students and parents to another exciting year at Alton Memorial Junior High, Home of the Mighty Falcons! 

I am so excited to join the Falcon Family, and I’m ready to begin a brand-new year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities. Whether you are returning to our school or joining us for the very first time, know that you belong here and that this is a place where you will be supported, encouraged, and challenged to do your very best.

This year is a fresh start—a chance to set goals, try new things, make new friends, and discover more about yourself. Remember, every day is an opportunity to learn not only from your teachers, but also from one another.

Our school is more than just classrooms and hallways; it’s a community. Each of you plays an important role in making our school a safe, respectful, and welcoming place. Treat one another with kindness, work hard, and never be afraid to ask for help.

Dear Alton Memorial Jr. High School Community,

It is with great enthusiasm that I serve as the Assistant Principal of Alton Memorial Jr. High School, home of the Mighty Falcons. Together, we are building a school community where every learner is encouraged to take risks, every staff member has opportunities to grow, and collaboration with our families and community drives our success.

At AMJH, we believe that learning is a journey of discovery. To grow, students must feel supported to take risks in their learning, try new strategies, and embrace challenges. Our classrooms are safe spaces where curiosity is celebrated, mistakes are valued as opportunities to learn, and perseverance is cultivated.

For our incredible staff, I am committed to fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. By creating opportunities for our teachers to problem-solve, lead initiatives, and reflect on their practices, we aim to empower them as leaders who inspire our students every day.

Collaboration with families and the greater Alton community is an integral part of our work.
